What My Clients Say...
~ "I met Coach Ingrid at the beginning rally of the Richmond 10-K. She was a bright woman and a registered nurse, telling us about her business as a life coach. Well, meeting Ingrid did a lot more for me than running the race did. My life was in a rut, my goals were collecting dust in my mind, and my family caregiving was sucking the life out of me. It was time to do something different, so I contacted Ingrid after the race and set up some coaching sessions.
Ingrid put me to work. She gave some paperwork, which required me to think pretty specifically about what I want to do and what is getting in the way. We set realistic goals right from the start, and we set accountability, and we set rewards. It's better than a book, it's better than a class: We worked through all this together, and the plan was uniquely for me. We got me on a reasonable exercise and eating plan. My office was beginning to be organized. And the best change of all was that my frame of mind was world's better. I still use her techniques all the time. When you find the right life coach, you invest in yourself. Ingrid is the right coach for me; she may be the right coach for you. "
~ "You were the voice of reason in my sea of anxiety"
~ "A great coaching experience! When I first called Ingrid I was in the middle of a terrible transition period--life transition, stressful job situation, possible relocation--and I just couldn't sort it all out by myself. As a typical 'type-A'personality, even I couldn't figure out what to do next. I called Ingrid to break out of my "rut." Talking with her allowed me to straighten out my priorities and remind me of what was really important to me. She also reminded me that I had to find "joy" in my life. Sometimes she recommended actions, other times she just listened to me rant and rave. But she was always supportive. After working through the transition period, I realized how difficult my situation really was. I'm glad I had made the call--I still hear Ingrid's voice in my mind, reminding me to "let go," and "just enjoy the moment." And now I do. So I consider my coaching experience a success. Thanks Ingrid!"
~ "Thanks for your support. I really thought about what you said last night and am going to approach things differently tomorrow with both appointments. I'm in the drivers seat and it's about time that I take control. Thanks for everything and for giving me a different and better perspective!"
~ "You have helped me to achieve new things and learn more about myself. You have motivated, encouraged, and helped me to clearly focus on my goals and how I can attain them. You have a wealth of knowledge and information and have gone above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I could possibly need to change my life."
~ "Thank you for providing coaching during a tough decision. The tools, assessments, and experiments you provided helped to clarify the right next steps for me. Just like a tour guide in a new city, I will recommend you to my friends as a life guide when in a personal place that is new to you. I don't know if they all know about coaching, but I'm sure your skills and comfortable style would be helpful to anyone facing a decision, crisis, or just the ups and downs of daily life. Thanks for all you've done."
~ "Ingrid has coached me in a gentle, loving, supportive way. Her thoughtful logic allows me to see things in a new light. Through thoughtful questions she guides me to expand my possibilities."
~ "I really needed the reality check. Boy do you have some tough questions - but they get the right answers! Thanks for making me realize that I can do it. Heck, I can do anything! Thanks again coach!"
~ "I appreciate your advice
last week. I have adopted my list making for at home projects and I am having
more success at getting things done. It was a helpful exercise and your observations
were very insightful. Since then, I have often thought about the things you
pointed out. Thank you!"
~ "I have gone through a bit
of a metamorphosis under your special coaching skills . Needless to say, at
my tender age of almost 50 I was rather reluctant to fathom the possibility
that at my age I would be able to make changes in my performance of both the
mundane of everyday living to the complexities of my position in my office.
I was also reticent to think that bearing my "soul" with my habits, quirks,
and idiosyncrasies to a virtual stranger would somehow enlighten me to the
possibility of change. After a few months of your
guidance, suggestions, encouragement, positive feedback, discussions, constructive
criticism I have actually found myself in a different place. It has actually
made an impact on how I conduct my daily life. I would never have thought
that the possibilities were even an option. I have
been going through life on a multitudinal of levels with a variety of changes
that have adversely affected my life. However, through your gentle and sometime
strong pushes, I found somehow the needed effort and courage to meander through
these times. I have reaped those rewards and can continue that on a daily
basis.
I am so grateful for the guidance you have given
to me to help me forward. The ironic part is that I didn't even think I needed
to change. How fortunate for me that my good friend suggested that I speak
with you. I thank you so very much."
